How are you, everyone?? On saturday, July 3rd, I went to Cincinnati Art Museum&Zoo. So, I'll tell you about that. Before we arrived, we had lunch at T.G.I fridays. After l hour, We arrived Cincinnati Art Museum.
First I'll tell you about Cincinnati Art Museum. That museum was very big. There are lots of pictures, statues and remains. There were exhibited of art from Europe, Egypt, Rome, etc. Through those works, I learned about history each of country.
Second, I'll tell you about Cincinnati Zoo. I heard that this zoo opened in 1857. That place was very wide. There are also lots of animals in Cincinnati Zoo. There are all sorts of animal, such as reptiles, mammalia, ape, insects and bird. I saw insects, a variaty of cat, monkeys, gorilla, reptiles, birds, etc. I haven't see totally. Because, we haven't enough time, take all around. I haven't seen those animals, before.
Overall, I enjoyed in kentucky and I thought that it looks like I did the right thing by coming here. People are very nice and kind. I wkll here for a month to study and enjoy.
Today was holiday but I woke up early. Because today was full of the schedule. We went to MC Donald's,we have a lunch at TGI Friday's and went to Art museum, cincinnati zoo and we went out to dinner at a Fazoli's.
Before we have a lunch, we go to the McDonald's.I ordered Oreo mcflurry myself. That was my first ordered in USA. I was very happy. Mcflurry taste is same as in Korea. We have a lunch at a TGI Friday's. I ordered chicken honey mustard sandwiches. It is very delicious.Other menu is delicious too.
After we finished lunch, we went to Cincinnati Art museum. I'm interested in art. so i feel great to see an art work. there are many art products. I could see the Egypt mummy. I'm interesting Egypt. If i have enough time, i want to go to Egypt. i saw the Paik nam-june's product, 'powel crosley,Jr.' He is the first to recognize the enormous potential of television and video as artistic media. he began to create a number of video sculptures as well performance pieces that incorporated videography. The first of paik's robot sculptures of which powel crosley,Jr. he is very famous artist in korea.
And then, we went to the Cincinnati zoo. this zoo is very big. There're many animals. but the weather is very hot. Almost animals are sleeping. I feel tired,too.
We have a dinner at Fazoli's. It's delicious but price is a little expensive.
I remembered kentucky,very nice and beautiful city. Sunshine is a little strong but I was very happy in kentucky, this is fantastic experience!
Today was substantial day. I went to a Catholic Church with Keith, Moon, Joo and Beauty in the morning. That place was smaller than what I thought. I ate the Eucharist. After a mass was over, we had a snack time. People in the church were very kind and passionate.
After long await, we went to Fayette Mall to shopping in Lexington. That place is big. It had many shops such as American Eagle, Abecrombie, Victoria's Secret and MAC, etc. This mall is too broad, so I couldn't see all things.
Lastly, we went to Lake Reba Park to watch fireworks. There were a lot of pelple and traffic was hold up, but we arrived rapidly because Brian was the best driver. HaHa. The fireworks was different than Korea's fireworks that I have seen before. It look a long time than Korea's fireworks.
Generally, I really pleasant today. While I spend here, I want to make a precious memory.
I was very busy today. we went to Mall, Church, Lake Reba Park. so I woke up early at 7a.m. and I ate a cereal with my roommate. we promised with Keith that we meet in front of Brockton. Because we promised in order to go to the church. At 8:30 a.m. we started from Brockton. and then we ate cookies and talked with other people. we met Keith's son, Jacob. I was very exciting. Because of shopping. But I had not much time. so I quickly looked around Mall with my friends. I bought T-shirts and bath product. I was happy. Today was American's independants day. so we went to Lake Reba Park in order to watch a fireworks. The night sky was very beautiful. and There was various colors. In America, There was many stories for me. so I didn't forget many things in America.
The most memorable thing is I went to the horsepark.
I was volunteer for cerebral palsy children a few weeks ago. They had a problem to walk. So, they had to ride a horse. If they ride a horse, their back spine can be straight. This is one of therapy for that children. That's why I was very interesting about to go to horsepark. I watched horse perade. some horses are very big.And their were many horses came from different country. That was the most impressive.
If I get a chance, I will go to the Horsepark. Also, I don't forget to Horsepark. *.*
I like shopping. I went to FAYTTE MALL in Lexington. The mall was big. There were many mall. I was so happy. I bought bags and clothes in Victoria secret. They were sali produsts. And I bought some clothes but, I couldn't buy. Because It was very expensive. Anyway, I was so happy in the Mall.
Hi everyone! My favorite time is "Fire work" and "shopping". My DHU friends and EELI and I was went to the lake. Before Fire work, we went to shopping in Lexington. The shopping place name was Fayette Mall in Lexington. The place was so big and have many products. After shopping, we went to "Fire work". There was many people. we were very exciting and enjoyed that day.
My favorite part of "Fire work" is the Fire work. Fire work was so fantastic better than i thought. Before firework, we went to Music concert. The band of music concert was greatful. After music concert, we went to see the Firework. Fire work look like big flowers. It's pretty. I thought that a night sky is very pretty and star was shinig. I was surprised becaused of the fire work fall down to me. So i was funny.
There are also lots of things to Lexington shopping mall. First, we went to Victoria's secret for shopping. There was many things. For example, cosmetics, women under wear, clothes and so on. I bought cosmetics for friends and my mother and sister. I was want to have every cosmetic. then we were hungry. So we bought stic bread for eating. It's delicious. And then we went vitamin shop for my grandmother. There was many vitamines. Finally, we went to Body shop, I bought my favorite perfume whithe musk.
Overally, I really enjoyed that day and i think i'will have a lot of fun as a student at the University of Kentucky, I have had so much fun today, but I am so tired, I'm so happy and i will happy.
Hello everyone! The EELI English program like maybe the best memory that pool party The pool party is no exist in University Korea So, I'm wonder if how to open pool party.
That day's Firday. We went to school after than We had a pool party We are putting on a swimsuit Before We entered the swimming pool, We ate a pizza and coke It is very delicious I ate a lot!! Afer than We played the swim. At first water is little cold, afer tim is nice We played the game in swimming pool, We had a good time and We ate a cupcake and brownie, too It very sweety^.^ We were many took a picture with DHU friends and EKU friends. We came back in Brockton.
I have a first time pool party I felt a very interesting time. Is making a pool party in Korea I would like to have a pool party time The pool party time suggest to my University president^.^ Pool party is very nice experience for me.
Maybe today was extremely busy day since I came EKU. We met DHU instructors early morning and moved with 3 vans. We went TGIFRIDAY’S, museum and zoo in Cincinnati. The weather was good today so it was nice sightseeing.
Before arrived museum, we stopped by TGIFRIDAY’S. At there, we ate lunch. I ate sandwiches with lemonade. Taste is so-so. I wanted to eat rib but I didn’t. After we finished eating, I gave the server one-dollar bill to make a tip.
After finished lunch, we went museum. There are many paintings and sculptures. Impressed painting was ‘Mother and Child’. I felt mother’s love. And it was so funny that took pictures in front of baseball player painting. More students posed baseball player for a photograph. Finished see museum, I bought a T-shirt as a souvenir.
At last, we went Cincinnati zoo from museum. It is best zoo I had seen. Many animals welcomed us. I saw various animals and took pictures. But because of strong sun, I had a little dizziness a while.
During came Brockton, we dropped by restaurant and had a dinner simply. Today is very tired but it was very nice day. Tomorrow is Independenceday in USA. I’m look forward to tomorrow’s shopping in Lexington and seeing fireworks.
hello everyone ! I tell you my USA story. After I arrived at University of Kenturky, I little tired but i had a good time and i'm always happy. I have great experience. I was impressed lexington shopping mall and cincinnati zoo.
I enjoy all of them. but best of them is shopping mall in lexington. i went at USA independance day. so there was big sale!! I suprized the thngs prise!! It was so cheap! especially cosmatic things. I bought mine and my mother present. she will like that. and I bought my clothes at abecrombie. I like it
we went to cincinnati zoo. I saw many animals such as tiger, elepant, fish, snake etc. I touched snake. it was smothly and strong. I took pictures. i had a good time.
Hello everyone! Today was busy day! We went to the Kentuchky Horse park at first and then to shopped. It was very interesting! At Horse park, we took a car, which is two huge horses pulled. Because of hot weather. I though that horses are very pathiful. They looked very tired. We watched international horses show,too. I was very fun. Shopping was the best thing in Lexington. We were running at mall. I bought clothes, present for my friends and my family. I was very tired and hungry. Because I shopped very hard. Overall, I was funny because of many of experience. I'm happy for my life in Kentucky!
13 days pasted after I arrived at here. Time is so fast. I saw, listened and experienced from that time. I went some shopping malls, a zoo, a museum and a Bar-B-Q party are my favorite experiences.
I want to the shopping mall in Lexinton 2 times. It was not boring at all to go Lexinton although. It tool almost 2 hours. I was really excited about shopping, because I heared some stuff are cheaper than in Korea. Yes, it was real. Additionally, there was on sale to celebrate the Independance Day. I bought some cosmetic products and clothes in very cheap price. It was almost steal.
Also, I really enjoyed the Bar-B-Q party in the lake park. I prepared many food, beef and some snacks for smores. I really like that kinds of party. To eat outside is more delicious than inside. Besides, scenery around that park was very peaceful and calm. So, I could have time to be relived of concerns.
From today, it remains only 15 days in E.K.U. I am really sorry about that. I hope that I have more precious time. I am looking forward to going shopping and Bar-B-Q again, and also having other nice experiences.
